If you’re familiar with a popular “Lost Doge” meme that won the hearts of netizens around the world back in 2013 and earlier, then you probably know just how cute Shiba Inus can be.
And if you think Shiba Inus are cute, imagine how adorable three Shibas sticking their heads together while waiting for food would look.
A video circulating online shows three Shibas standing side by side, with their faces sticking to each other while waiting to be fed. Their faces are so close to one another you’d think they are just one dog with three heads, like the mythical Cerberus!
Their owner, who caught them on camera, wrote that he was cooking when the three pooches banded together to form an irresistible three-headed pooch appealing for dinner. The owner said they do this every time their meal is being prepared.
The video shows that the Shibas’ actions appear to be synchronized with each other. When one of them licks its lips, the others follow suit in quick succession, as if choreographed.
One of them also visibly wags its tail from time to time, as if saying “let me eat!” If their cute facial expressions, their obvious excitement over dinner, and the wagging tail aren’t enough to convince their owner to hurry up and feed them already, then their persistence will.
The three remain steady until the video ends, staring at their owner with irresistible eyes. They show no signs of backing away. Obviously, the three dogs are intent on getting their food will use their overflowing cuteness to get it.
In Greek mythology, the Cerberus was a guard dog preventing the dead from leaving the underworld. In real life, these three dogs guard their master’s kitchen, preventing any food from getting out of the room unless they get a taste of it first.
