Every newborn and infant needs their mother the most. What if you were abandoned on a sidewalk with no way of getting to your mother? That’ s what happened to this precious dog, Joy.
She was found by the people who rescued her on the sidewalk. She was tiny and weighed only about one hundred and sixty grams. As Joy was a newborn, she was very fragile.
Newborn puppies are blind, deaf and toothless which makes taking care of them very challenging. On her first week, she sleeps most of the time and is bottle-fed since her mother is unavailable. Joy is slowly growing up to be a strong dog.
Just a few weeks old, this little ball of fur even has a favorite toy which is a white Siberian tiger plushie. She looks so good playing and sleeping with it. Joy even gets along with the big dogs in her foster home.
She enjoys playing with them and stealing what they are nibbling on at the moment. The big dogs don’t mind though as they seem to love Joy very much. You can even say that the other dogs spoil her as she is the youngest of the bunch.
Just about two weeks before Christmas, and due to Joy’s energy and spirit, a family from the Netherlands fell in love with her and could not wait to be with her. This family drove across Europe to meet Joy in Vienna.
This must have been the family’s best Christmas gift that year. Joy loves her new family and seems to have adapted to her new environment. She was not the only one adopted by the family too.
Joy’s favorite toy was adopted as well! Now, that’s what a happy ending looks like.
