Swamp Dog Loves Submerging His Body Into The Mud

Swamp Dog Loves Submerging His Body Into The Mud

Geojas Grover January 13, 2020

It’s easy to make dogs happy. Most of them are contented with toys, a favorite dog treat, or a walk in the park. But some dogs have the weirdest way of having fun.

Toby, a golden retriever from Scotland, has a very unusual habit of diving into muds. He became famous, with 33 thousand followers on Instagram, because of it. He’s really a one of a kind pooch!

One day, Toby’s walker took him for a walk together with the other dogs. Little did she know that her chosen path has a mud puddle along the way. She is fully aware of Toby’s love for muds. She has been walking Toby since he was just a month old, which is why she already knows what was going to happen next.

And Toby proved her right! He didn’t even think twice before jumping into the mud puddle. He plunged right in like he was just swimming in the water. She kept on calling him but he ignored her like he didn’t even care.

You can barely see him because of all the muds on his body. His clean white fur disappeared in a split second. He was awfully covered with mud. The other dogs seemed disturbed by what Toby was doing so they started to panic.

His walker continued calling his name, but still, Toby wouldn’t listen. He’s having fun and no one can stop him. He just sat while in the mud puddle staring blankly at her. Toby looked like he’s waiting for her to throw something so he can play retrieve.

Toby’s walker is used in scenarios like this. She knows that this makes him so happy. He can smell muds even from afar. He just runs off whenever he sees mud puddles no matter if it’s big or small. This is why Toby was nicknamed the “Swamp Dog.”
