Dog owner Lynn Russell caught her energetic dogs playing with a bread trolley in their backyard in Guildford, England. The 45-year-old woman found it hilarious and recorded the group of canines on September 11. Russell uploaded the comical video on her Facebook account, where it received more than 15,000 likes and 64,000 shares.
In the footage, the 12-year-old Scottish Terrier named Squeak hopped on to the flat cart before his doggy pals joined the fun. The backyard instantly became an amusement park as the pack of dogs transformed the trolley into a ride. At first, the Jack Russell named Alfie and one of the other Scotties held the strap attached to the red crate between their teeth.
The pair pulled the trolley with the elderly Scottie on board, holding the other end of the tie. The white Sealyham Terrier named Gladys then stole the strap from the duo and tugged at the cart. Seconds later, Alfie ran after Gladys and helped her pull the trolley.
The other Scotties named Daisy, Chip, Dolly, and Dora joined the pack and spun Squeak around for more than 45 seconds. Amazingly, Squeak kept his balance as the younger dogs dragged him across the yard. The group enthusiastically wagged their tails and repeatedly barked as they entertained themselves with their makeshift toy.
Russell, who works as a horse trainer, told MailOnline that Squeak is quite old to play around like that. However, she added that this silly antic keeps the elderly canine sprightly and called him young at heart. The dog owner shared that they keep things around in their yard, and the dogs choose to play with whatever they find.
Russell said that the dogs played on the crate that the supermarket uses for bread deliveries. She recalled that one of them started the game and others just joined in. Russell also added that the group of canines bounces off each other’s energy. Her pets spend all their time outside and love their toys and a bit of attention.
