Pit Bulls are often associated with dog fighting because the breed is often the choice for many dog fighting rings. The breed is known to fight to the end and is remarkably resilient. That is why many people thought that pit bulls are naturally aggressive and mean.
But in truth, pit bulls are loyal and sweet dogs. They are very affectionate and indeed a fantastic family companion. No matter what the breed is, if a dog is not trained or socialized enough by their irresponsible owners, they would likely attack, bite and become aggressive.
Take for example the story of Cadence and Chance. Both pit bulls were rescued from abuse. Both were saved separately, and it seems both came from abusive homes. Because of all the scars and wounds found on Cadence face, the rescue team believed she was a bait dog. But Cadence was a sweet and good dog.
Chance, on the other hand, was terrified when he was first spotted by the crew. They had to be very patient with Chance. But when they finally got his trust, it turns out Chance is a very gentle dog.
So when the pit bull rescue team got the chance to meet the two dogs, they were unprepared for what happened. Watch the video down below to see for yourself.
When the two rescue dogs met, it was evident that they like each other very much. Aside from playing with each other, both dogs can be seen licking each other and just having the best time together.
The story just proved dogs are genuinely resilient and survivors. Both had a rough start in life, but when they got rescued, they seem to move past all their bad experiences and embrace life again with happiness and love.
