When you’re a young and energetic dog, nothing gets you more pumped than a good hike with your favorite hoomans. Think kids on the beach, and you’ll get a picture of how it is.
This Golden Labrador Retriever named Sterling felt precisely that way. On this day, he was extra excited because his hooman brother, Tyler, came with him.
Other than exploring some random critters and mysterious places, nothing’s more fun than spending quality time with your people.
The pumped Sterling would run back and forth just to make sure that both his mom, Doris, didn’t get lost in the woods. Aww, that’s mighty nice of you to think of, pet!
The pet went on to play and enjoy nature, but it came with a ton of running, snacking, and well, getting dirt all over his body. Between minding his masters and doing zoomies, a dog could only manage so much.
Sterling and his owners played a little locating game, and they also played fetch. When Tyler climbed up a tree, the dog managed to find him, but couldn’t climb to reach him.
They knew you couldn’t, pet, so the joke’s on you. They just wanted to see what you’d do. It’s adorable to watch you try to reach for Tyler even when you couldn’t climb up.
The melting snow and ground mixed together to form a murky puddle. Sterling promptly got himself into one, and it got his coat dirty.
The doggo didn’t realize just how dirty he got until he was in the car while they traveled home. He knew then that he was gonna get a bath that he didn’t like, but he went with it.
After all, a watering can bath isn’t too bad compared to wearing a blue towel wrapped around his body. Sterling also wore the blue towel of shame after. No worries, boy, you looked good in it!
