As a pet owner, it is usually the dogs who bark at their owners to let them know that they want to go inside the house after playing or doing their business in the yard. However, Kaylyn Marie from Florida accidentally switched places with her pet dog.
Unfortunately for Kaylyn, the wooden rod used to secure the sliding door fell in the door frame. Knowing that it would take hours before she could come back in because the house was empty, she had no other choice but to ask for the person — a dog, rather, for help.
Sam is a yellow Labrador who was the only one inside her Orlando, Florida home. Kaylyn instructed her dog to remove the rod because it kept her from opening the sliding door.
Sam tried getting the rod using his mouth, but unfortunately, it did not work. Kaylyn kept on encouraging Sam not to give up on removing the rod.
The dog felt a little bit tired, so he stepped away from the scene for a while. When Sam went back to do what Kaylyn wanted him to do, he focused on the job at hand.
After countless efforts of using his paws to get the stubborn rod out, Sam successfully managed to remove it. Sam was so proud of himself that he happily threw his head around with the prized wooden rod in its mouth, and Kaylyn jumped excitedly for her dog’s achievement.
The University of Central Florida Nursing student could not help but feel overjoyed how good her dog was. She went on to share with The Dodo how intelligent he was.
After the whole fiasco that led the two becoming closer than they already are, Kaylyn rewarded Sam with all the treats he clearly deserves.

So I locked myself out and I knew nobody was going to be home for hours. Needless to say, I have the best dog ever ๐๐๐๐๐|||Follow @samthegoodboi on Instagram for more of this good doggo.
