A big dog named Wilbur just gained two guinea pigs for siblings. At first, he would not approach the two guinea pigs named Market Price and Rumps.
When Wilbur realized that they were harmless creatures, he warmed up to them. He even joins them during some of their activities, like eating their lettuce. At first, Wilbur hated it. His mother never expected what happened next.
When he saw how Market Price and Rumps was devouring it, he did not want them to have all the fun. He took lettuce in his mouth and then spit it out. After a few minutes, he just went ahead and ate it. His curiosity made him eat a vegetable.
This has become a routine, and their mother is always amused by it. Their mom loves how Wilbur and the two guinea pigs have become so comfortable around each other. There is no sign of fear or intimidation between them. That’s what she wanted to see.
Their mother, Jen, brought them outside one day. She wanted to test how the guinea pigs would behave when they are outdoors. Jen was relieved with what she saw.
All they wanted to do was stay in one place and eat the grass. Market Price and Rumps were so behaved!
Wilbur laid with them as they were eating, and that meant a lot for Jen. She knew that Wilbur would always look out for these two tiny creatures. Even when they don’t respond when Wilbur would try to play with them, he still loves them.
Jen knows that she can trust them with each other, and that is very important to her. Wilbur, Market Price, and Rumps have given her so much joy. Seeing the three of them together is always the best part of her day. That’s why it delighted her so much to know that the three can co-exist.
